An e-commerce fulfillment center faced bottlenecks from manual piece-picking and packing. Productivity varied by worker skill, repetitive tasks increased errors and cycle times, and fluctuating order volumes made night-shift staffing and labor scaling difficult.

The center deployed CMES Robotics’s AI-driven Auto-Bagger, fully automating piece picking, bagging, heat sealing, and labeling. Using 3D vision, warehouse-trained AI, and a multi-purpose CMES Robotics gripper, the system accurately handles diverse products and transfers them precisely for packing.

The system processes up to 1,000 items per hour with a 99.9% pick success rate. Automated recovery, multi-robot operation, and real-time monitoring improve throughput, accuracy, and staffing efficiency.
